How do you find qualified therapists?

As cliché as it sounds, the primary way we locate qualified Therapists is by word of mouth! This is because of our renowned reputation in Rehab Staffing. With over 15 years working solely with Rehab Professionals we have over 80% of our therapists come to us by Word of Month and Referrals. This is very unique in Registry and is a testament to our proven track record and service.

We consistently recruit utilizing a variety of mediums that include State Conferences, Job Fairs, Direct Mail, Newsletters, and Electronic Media to name a few. We ask more of our Therapists than other registries. The time and effort we spend in our prescreening process enables us to prove you with the best Therapists available! Preferred will move heaven and earth to find knowledgeable and compassionate Therapists!

What if I have a need after hours?

Preferred Healthcare Registry is dedicated to meeting your needs 24/7! In the case of a staffing emergency or an urgent need, we have staff available to you via telephone after hours and on the weekends. Our emergency staffing line is 800.462.1896.

What if I need a Therapist with a specific skill set?

Preferred Healthcare Registry retains high-caliber Therapists with a wide variety of experience. If you have specific needs, please advise your Staffing Manager, and they will complete a search to ensure the Therapist that is confirmed will meet your distinct needs and expectations!

Who is responsible for paying the Therapist?

Preferred Healthcare Registry is the Therapists' employer. Therefore, we are responsible for the Therapists' payroll, taxes, benefits, malpractice, workers' compensation and liability insurance. The Therapist completes a timecard for hours worked at your facility and a facility representative authorizes the hours. From there the timecard is submitted to Preferred and we produce an invoice that is submitted to the Client for payment.
